I happy to know if there is anything I can do to speed page loading times as they are annoying me slow. (im on unmanaged VPS3 package)

some instances taking upto 10 seconds to load a page, and my users report that FTP is slow aswell.
Downloading a file speed seems to be fine, apart from the speed issues I’m completely happy with the service.

Will eAccelerator make any difference to the speeds?

Hi,

In order to speed up your site, I would recommend to optimize your webserver and mysql. However, I don't say you should not install eAccelerator, eAccelerator is helpful to increase php pages speed. But, you should try to optimize your mysql and apache before.

An icon will be visible on your system tray, when you are connected to the internet (a icon having two computers, which will blink when connected). That is the Network and dial-up connection icon.

Just place your mouse over that icon and it will show the Internet connection speed in a tool tip window.
